Along shady tree-lined Lenox Street, in the notable Chicago suburb of Oak Park, lived a modern woman of considerable style. European by birth, she favored contemporary Scandinavian furniture and the cutting edge designers of Herman Miller, notably Charles and Raye Eames and George Nelson. With this modern sensibility she built a home unlike any other, with a collection of furniture straight out of a modern design textbook.
STUDY's good friend Diana Ostreko, herself a modern woman of considerable style, will be curating and conducting the sale. In addition to dealing in gorgeous vintage furniture, Diana's company, Amazing Space Inc., offers design service including feng shui, space planning, and color consultation. Years ago we purchased a pair of 1930's leather clad nightstands from Diana, and we've been enthralled with her aesthetic ever since. Given exclusive access to the preview photos nearly made my heart stop. We immediately contacted Diana for information on this bedroom set by George Nelson, which we are now considering for the master bedroom:
