At a party in Edgewater last weekend, STUDY's good friend Jason turned us onto the case piece stylings of furniture rehabers, Chris and Brad - Repurposed. Jason just moved to Edgewater and in his search for the perfect dresser, he came across Chris and Brad's work through your average Craigslist search. Low and behold, these guys are also regularly featured on Apartment Therapy's weekly Scavenger roundups and offer most pieces sub-$300. Sold!

More Chris and Brad rehabs after the jump.

Chris and Brad's rehab projects always begin with a clean-lined mid-century case piece in need of some love. Sometimes this means a simple refinishing, but more often this involves breaking out the big guns. Big guns in the form of some bold and carefully applied paint:

Still, STUDY's favorite Chris and Brad pieces are also the most basic, using just white paint to highlight a piece's shape or functionality.

Any of these pieces is a better-made and equally-priced alternative to the something you'd find at, say, Ikea. Do yourself a favor and find out more about Chris and Brad's inventory at Chris and Brad - Repurposed's facebook page.
