STUDY Goes Dose

If you were anywhere near the River East Arts Center last Sunday you'll know what we've been up to. STUDY was lucky enough to be one of the inaugural exhibitors at Dose Market - a brand new monthly market that brings together Chicago's artisan food, fashion and design communities into one fantastic space right on the lake. Full disclosure: we had no idea what to expect since the majority of vendors were either in the food or fashion categories, but well, well, WELL... after hour one at Dose we were complete and total converts.

The crowds were enthusiastic, incredibly fun and - best of all - eager to buy. Here's a bit of what the day offered:

It's been with us for a few shows but now that white chair is gonzo. The orb lamp is still safely in our custody.

Sold: Turned wood lamps, Gibralter glasses, wood tray and blue suitcase. Still available: Creepy/cute Victorian boy photo.

And we still have a few late 18th/early 19th Century portraits available.

If you missed the market, check out some great recaps from Refinery 29, The Feast and Twentysomething Test Dummies (they snapped the Grant Achatz evidence). All three gave STUDY some love and well - we love them for that.

The next Dose Market happens Sunday, July 10th at The River East Arts Center from 10am - 4pm.
