STUDY has been bucket-deep in Benjamin Moore paint lately, the fruits of which we hope to share with you here in the coming weeks, but in the meantime - and in an effort to remind us that there are alternative wall coverings out there - we thought we'd take the time showcase some wallpapers that are inspiring us right now.
Farrow & Ball:
The grand dame of wallpaper manufacturers, Farrow & Ball has been producing papers since the 1940s in Dorset, England. Unlike most modern wallpaper producers, Farrow & Ball continues to make all of its papers using its own line of artisanal paints.

Focusing on traditional colors and patterns, Farrow & Ball executes their handmade papers with precise detail. There's no cookie-cutting going on here; each panel bears a unique texture that adds to authenticity of product and, subsequently, price.

Kreme:
Kreme Home Goods is a newcomer to the wallpapering scene but has already been generating significant buzz both online and in print. Kreme offers a variety of design options including custom colors and ready-to-hang framed swatches in either 18"x24" or 24"x36", suitable for any budget.

Here at STUDY we're especially fond of Kreme's "Chains" wallpaper in navy. This paper would be perfectly suited for a hallway where undulating horizontal lines would be emphasized:
