A Thanksgiving In Uptown
Aside from a few meltdowns of near-epic proportion leading up to the big day, this year's Thanksgiving feast at STUDY H.Q. was a rousing success. Thanks to delegating dishes, some gastronomically-inclined guests and the help of Nigella Lawson, everything went off without a hitch... unless you count our after-dinner movie of choice of Meet Me In St. Louis.
The movie has a LOT going on including - but not limited to - ketchup making, racist singing and dancing, telephone conversations via bad connections... and then they all go to the World's Fair at the end. But no mind; not even a 65 year-old musical starring a hopped-up Judy Garland could ruin these good times:
Our chef feverishly preps.
Oskar
Leah and Jason chat.
The table is set.
Make Martha proud... and use her templates.
And now we eat pie.
Happy (belated) Thanksgiving!
