Cloches: Put It Under Glass
So what I like looking at things under glass... get off my back.

Sometimes the trends that are closest to your heart are also those that you just need to give up. What is it they say, kill your darlings? It's this way with terrariums/cloches/whathaveyou. They're EVERYWHERE these days, but do they really need to go the way of taxidermy and be relegated to an area of design meant for only Home Goods and lazy designers? While scrounging around online for evidence that this too has passed, I only came up with further proof that cloches are actually forever and always and not going anywhere.
This is all thanks to the work of British artist Kate MccGwire who meticulously affixes feathers to undulating shapes and - often - puts them under glass. They seem to have a movement to them... like some kind of twisted curio that could come alive at any moment.
